Summer Smoothies

Enjoy the health benefits of yogurt, soy and fresh fruits in these delicious summer smoothie recipes!

Banana Split Smoothie

1 c. lowfat Vanilla yogurt
1 c. Vanilla Light Silk (soy milk)
1 banana, sliced
1/2 cup canned chunk pineapple, drained
1 c. fresh or frozen strawberries

Blend til smooth and enjoy! Makes 2 1/2 - 3 servings.

Dreamsicle Smoothie

1 c. lowfat Vanilla yogurt
1 c. Vanilla Light Silk (soy milk)
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 teas. vanilla flavoring

Blend til smooth and enjoy! Makes 2 1/2 - 3 servings.

Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

1 c. lowfat Vanilla yogurt
1 c. Chocolate Light Silk (soy milk)
1 c. pitted cherries
1 teas. almond flavoring

Blend til smooth & enjoy! Makes 2 1/2 - 3 servings.

Pina Colada Smoothie

1 c. lowfat Vanilla Yogurt
1 c. Vanilla Light Silk (soy milk)
1 c. canned pineapple chunks, drained
1/2 sweetened coconut

Blend til smooth & enjoy! Makes 2 1/2 - 3 servings.

**NOTE** Feel free to add 1 tbls. ground flaxseed to any of these recipes to increase fiber intake.
Also, if you want to have a smoothie as a meal replacement, add 2 scoops of whey protein powder.
